President Obama's achievements... For a president whose coming was heralded into office like the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem and also vilified in office like the Jews did to Jesus Christ, it is remarkable that president Obama is quitting the White House like the unbelievable exit of the prophet Muhammad. He was a statesman who means a lot to everyone in the society. To the poor and needy, he created the Affordable Care Act-ACA2010 and the 2009 economic rejuvenation Act. He resuscitated the Auto giants GM Motors and Chrysler motors. He ended the war in Iraq and recalled the American troops since 2011. He initiated the peace accord between North and South Sudan. He worked with United Nations to stop Iran from activating Nuclear weapons. He ended the long decades of American diplomatic row with Cuba and also visited Cuba. Towards the end of his second term in office, he also worked with the G-8 nations and refused to use the American veto on a peace accord that allows the Palestinians and Israel to live in peace in Gaza. He created the more than 14 million new jobs and reduced inflation to 4.7 percent. Long live President Barack Obama. God bless America! God bless Nigeria!

The Creek is dirt-- An attitude of un cleanliness--- The Creek is a dead sea--- Neither fish nor humans can live on it-- The Creek is now a caricature of its once bubbling looks-- When the Creek people farm and live on its rich treasures A King Kong once lived there-- He once lived a desolate life in the Creeks-- Then he started beating a drum a war-- He raised a Creek army-- He puts his gun on the food basket-- His gun sheds blood, tears and sorrow-- He kidnapped for a ransom-- He laid his arms on a Silver plate-- He filled his food plate full-- He becomes an overnight money man-- No more overnight bus hike-- He quickly forgets the Creek long suffering-- He forgets the labor of heroes past-- The Creek King Kong builds a Castle in the air-- A prodigal son brings no good-- The Creek is still lifeless and dirty--- ~Murtaza Micky Yusuf~I dedicate this poem to Kenule Ken SaroWiwa~The Late Ogoni1 of blessed memory--

Change, Changi and Shangiliti They are liars Ah! Men are liars The mouth of a liar sheds no blood His mouth tastes so sweet as honey Until he Changed it Until he Changed our minds He shortchanged the people's expectations He suddenly becomes an Identified Flying object(IFO) But no more money to feed the needy He Changed his promise many times Like a chamelion would Change its colors Then like a Leopard he never Changed its spot Our cities in total blackout Water has dried up in our homes Our roads are a paralysis of long queues He rejoices too much because he kills a goaliath He thinks not about the jobless army of youth He thinks not about our girls Is this Change,Changii or Shangiliti ~Murtaza Micky Yusuf~ I dedicate this poem to KONGI~Professor OluWole Akinwande Soyinka
